TAMP Systems Announces the Release of DRS Version 4.4Merrick, NY November 13, 2006: TAMP is pleased to announce Version 4.4 of its Disaster Recovery System (DRS™) planning software with another layer of robust functionality. Version 4.4 of the already popular planning tool, DRS™, now has Business Unit Planning (BUP) functionality, which includes many new features. The result of BUP allows users to relationally connect Business Continuity Planning (BCP) resource data to each continuity/recovery plan. For example, the Accounting department will be able to connect and report on its specific or shared recovery resource information required for continuity of operations. This recovery resource information could consist of personnel, vendors, equipment, software, vital records, facilities, etc. This additional layer of functionality allows users to produce plans with the specific and/or shared resources required for recovery.
With BUP, comes a wide variety of additional new functionality. For example:
- Single-Field Links (SFL), which allows the user to insert hot-links into an MS Word plan template and connect those hot-links to single data elements. SFL hot-links also allow the creation of mini reports, e.g., a small table of people that may be assigned to a recovery operation, etc.
- Incident response checklists, which incorporates SFL for data and reports
- Executive summary reporting of plans and planning data
- Robust tracking and reporting of planning activities
- Enhanced Call Tree reporting
- And, many more

Clients who have already seen the new DRS v4.4 are praising its easy-to-use interface and high-level management capabilities.
