Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)

A COOP is similar to a BCP, but differs in that our COOP consultants take into account the unique requirements faced by government, public health, financial institutions or other public entities.

Elected public officials, financial and academic leaders, as well as public safety, public works and public health leaders, are tasked with efficient operation of vital infrastructure and services that are critical to everyday lives of the American public.

These leaders have a responsibility to those they vow to protect and serve, whether it is their constituents, customers, students or patients, to keep the power grid connected, the health clinic open, the roads passable, the school safe, etc.

As a Certified Business Continuity Vendor (CBCV) from the independent institute DRI International (www.drii.org), TAMP Systems is one of the select few DRI-Certified partners with the experience, knowledge and ability to develop and implement COOPs.

We at TAMP understand that public organizations are responsible to:
  • ?   prevent or reduce risk and vulnerability to human, environmental, technological and natural threats
  • ?   minimize the damage caused by such events if they do occur
  • ?   assist in quick recovery of those events
Counting federal, state, county and local governments as clients, TAMP can help organizations prevent, prepare for and respond to any type of public threat that undermines vital undertakings and operations of American life.
